Alcohol Detox

Outpatient treatment for alcohol addiction is available.  Alcohol detox normally takes 3-5 days.  Librium is used to help with withdrawal symptoms and to prevent seizures, DT's, and the shakes.

Revia (naltrexone) has shown promise to decrease alcohol cravings and relapse.  Of course some type of rehab is a requirement.
